Pineapple Rolls January 17, 2010

It’s gonna be Chinese New Year in less than a month’s time. We usually have some must-have goodies for the festivities. Among those are pineapple tarts! I found an awesome recipe online a couple of years ago and I’ve made them a few times. Yesterday I was in the mood and decided to bake some pineapple rolls. People here call them tarts even though they are in the shape of rolls. there are open tart versions. I did mine in rolls because my pastry is the soft, flaky/breakable melt-in-the-mouth kind.
