After a few years of procrastination, I finally decided to try knitting the Ribbed Lace Bolero which I loved so much as to make a crochet version of it (because back then, I didn’t know how to knit. :P)
So, here it is! Alas, it became bigger after 1 wash. LOL. I used TLC Cotton Plus, I guess I should have made it slightly smaller because this yarn has a bit of drape and the design is very stretchy.
I will give it to my friend Suanie now because it is too big for me to wear!

I LOVE my first 10 square lacey shrug so much I had to make another one … in black! 😀
This one went a lot faster than the 1st one. I didn’t even have to look at the diagram anymore. 😀
I LOVE the pattern! I think I’m addicted to crocheting motifs now. 😛
Edit: Lots of you have asked for the diagram because you are having problems finding it. Here’s the link. It’s not my pattern! Credits belong to jessica-tromp.nl.

I’d been working on this shrug for a month but this week, being stuck at home, got me moving on this and I finally completed it today. 😀 The pattern is originally free from here. But I couldn’t find the pattern on that site (my browser’s cookies settings or something prevented me from accessing the pages). With a help from a fellow raveler, I got a slightly modified pattern from a French site. For joining of the squares, you can visit this other French blog for more information. 🙂
I think I will make it in black too. I think it’s a really pretty pattern. :):):)
The pattern is written in standard crochet symbols chart. Feel free to ask me questions about the pattern if you have trouble reading the diagram! 😀
